A Melee creep is added to each wave at 15:00, 30:00, and 45:00, making it 4/5/6 Melee creeps for all lanes. Every 10th wave will also spawn a Siege creep. Each wave consists of 3 Melee creeps and 1 Ranged creep. ![]() The presence of creeps is required to disable Backdoor Protection.Ĭreep waves start spawning at 0:00, and spawn every 30 seconds. When all barracks are destroyed, the creeps are further upgraded to Mega creeps. Super creeps have more health, do more damage, and give less gold and exp than regular creeps. Super Melee creeps spawn if the Melee barracks is destroyed, and Super Ranged/Siege creeps spawn if the Ranged barracks is destroyed. When an enemy barracks is destroyed, the corresponding lane spawns Super creeps instead. Lane creeps get stronger and appear in larger waves as time progresses. Siege creeps do more damage against buildings. Ranged creeps do more damage towards creeps. Melee creeps are the most common and have the most health. There are 3 types of Lane creeps: Melee, Ranged, and Siege. They are uncontrollable by players and will attack any enemy units, buildings, and heroes along their way. They spawn in waves at regular intervals in both bases and move down each lane towards the enemy base. Lane Creeps are the most common unit in Dota 2, and the biggest source of gold and experience for heroes. To the left is a Radiant siege creep, and to the right is a Dire siege creep. Melee creeps are fighting at the center while ranged creeps fire off projectiles at a distance. The green leafy ones are Radiant creeps, and the red bony ones are Dire creeps. ![]()
